So I've been wanting to start a blog for awhile, but didn't really know what I wanted to write about, or if I even had anything interesting to write about that people would want to read. I am going to give it a shot, so I figured my first post could be a little intro into my life. I am a 26, soon to be 27 year old Clevelander who has lived here all my life much to my dismay. I shouldn't say that really because I do like Cleveland...I just have a hard time coping with our fabulous weather during the winter months. Music is my passion...all sorts...just not country. You will never hear me discuss country music, unless I am commenting on how bad it is. Sorry for you non-haters out there. I can't help it. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise. I would much prefer the sounds of Silversun Pickups or Mudvayne over Britney Spears or Lady Gaga any day, although Just Dance is an amazing song. I do also love me some good dance and techno as well, but I will get more into that at a later date and time.
I've been living with my boyfriend for close to a year and a half - we've been together for almost 2 years. It is my first live-in relationship, so it's definitely been a learning experience for the both of us. I should probably delete that because I just got reamed about how I will NOT be discussing him on here. We will see about that... I graduated from college a year early, six years ago now, and have not done much with my life since then...or at least it seems that way. I interned for an awesome Cleveland morning show while I was in college and that was honestly one of the best times of my life. Now...well...let's just say I am in the credit/finance industry. I won't go into more detail because not only would you not have a clue as to what I do, but I would simultaneously bore you to death. That is not my goal here. I can do that in so many other ways...
I have recently become very interested in cooking...although that is more than likely because I don't live at my parents' house anymore, where I came home to a cooked dinner almost every night. I wouldn't say I am a chef by any means, but I can follow a recipe with the best of them. Other than that I am usually up for just about anything (including Nikki Dance Parties), and I would much rather dress in a hoodie and tennis shoes any day over heels. But I am not exactly a tom-boy either. I love Sephora and all beauty products like none other... So now that I have rambled on and on and I still don't know what the focus of this thing will be, I am going to wrap it up. Thanks Mol for pushing me, and I definitely liked La Femme Nikita as a title. Unfortunately I love Anchorman a ton. Until next time...
